Dancing Strong

Dancing Strong invites young audiences to dive into a magical world of friendship, connections and discovery this half term, with this gently mesmerizing performance of dance and live music.

Found follows the journey of two dancers, each adrift on their own islands. As they discover each other, and the world around them, they invite you to an enchanted zone where connections become visible. Sound waves ripple through their bodies, lines and angles converge in new discoveries and children are invited to play.

Inspired by selected museum pieces, FOUND was created with young children through residencies with three Primary schools and partner museums, making it the perfect half term treat for younger children.

Dancing Strong is an umbrella organization encompassing arts-in-education, performance and choreography, led by artistic director Adesola Akinleye. The professional dance company presents work for audiences of all ages internationally, appearing regularly at venues and festivals across Europe, USA and Canada.
