The Fugitives are coming to a venue near you soon. You can't miss them, there is a very big one and three medium-sized ones. They are always laughing and make lots of noise. Don't give them a limitless bar tab. Someone did once and I kept the till receipt. My grandparents paid less for their first house.

It might get loud, it might get sweaty but it'll definitely be rocking!

Cardiff's premier R&B Combo.

From Bayonne to Bristol, the Basque country to Barry Island they are still just as lairy, and just as hairy. For the 19th year in succession, they have been voted the 4th best R&B outfit within a radius of 8.7 miles of Whitchurch village. By the most modest of estimations, they have now played almost 2000 gigs. That’s 2000 Princess Margaret jokes and 2000 times Jason has tripped over the microphone stand. Good things never change. The Fugitives. Still the same, still brilliant.

The Radford Mill Festival of Rhythm & Blues takes place on Radford Mill Farm in Timsbury near to Bath. It is a picturesque area featuring traditional English gardens and plants and the pretty Cam Brook running through its grounds. It is a lovely relaxing area to stroll around and enjoy between bands; particularly in the sunshine.

The newly extended Somerset Coal Canal also runs along the farm.

The Bands perform under a large marquee which has the sides lifted for exterior visibility. The Marquee itself is set in a natural amphitheater which enables the audience to sit outside and enjoy the music should they wish. (In the event of rain, everybody could move undercover). There is good visibility of the bands and the audibility is excellent. When the sun goes down you are warmed by a large log campfire adding to the atmosphere.

There are camping facilities at the site, so you can even plan a short break around the event and spend time in the inspiring World Heritage City of Bath nearby. At only £5 per person per night, many people take advantage of this and are able to enjoy the Radford Mill breakfast.

The food is all freshly homemade with visibility of the kitchens so you can see it being cooked. It is absolutely delicious and uses all homegrown organic farm produce wherever possible.

There are plenty of drink options from the bar, including real ales, ciders, freshly squeezed juices, and Pimms Cocktails served in the jug.
