An A-Z Of Poverty

Following their stunning performances of 'Souvenirs' at the Bath Literature Festival in 2013 and Bristol's Tobacco Factory Theatres last October, Freedom from Torture's creative writing group Write to Life are returning to Bath with a new multimedia performance: An A-Z of Poverty'.

In Freedom from Torture's 30th Anniversary year, survivors perform their work about poverty and its effects, and their hopes of a better future. It's an exploration, in words and images, of poverty on refugees and asylum seekers in Britain, and their hopes for a better future, with live performances based on personal experience, video and excerpts from Freedom from Torture's research.
