Ensemble 360 is so named because it was formed, ten years ago, as the resident ensemble of the Music in the Round series in Sheffield (initially under the direction of the late Peter Cropper of The Lindsays). Consisting of musicians with distinguished international careers in orchestras and chamber groups, it has won golden critical opinions for its performances and recordings.

Tonight the group plays two favourite works at the heart of its repertoire: Mozart’s mellow Quintet for clarinet and strings; and Schubert’s genial, expansive Octet for wind and strings.
