What does it mean to be a working class writer? Be part of this special event curated and chaired by writer and artistic director of Bristol’s first Festival for Working Class Writers Natasha Carthew as she talks to award-winning writers Mahsuda Snaith (How to Find Home) and Sadie Hasler (Pramkicker).

They’ll talk about their latest books, poems and plays, share insights on the vital need for greater representation of working class writers, consider the economic and social barriers that can be faced in getting published and discuss why the upcoming Festival for Working Class Writers is such an important and exciting initiative.
