Mike Harding calls in at The Lamproom for an evening of poetry and stories!

Described by Billy Connolly as the "funniest man in England" and acknowledged as the Grandfather of Folk, Mike's current focus has shifted to his poetry and, in particular, an opportunity to share his work with a live audience.

With four published anthologies to his credit, he's been dropping in to read his poems at Poetry and Literary Festivals around the country lately.

Following these visits, Mike has decided to take his poetry on a tour of small theatres and arts centres in the North of England. And as well as reading his work, he'll be telling the personal stories that prompted him to write them.

It's perhaps not what a legion of his fans are used to but we can guarantee it will be a good night as well as rare chance to see "The Other Side of Mike Harding."
