Paul Thompson

Singer-songwriter Paul Thompson will be running a song-writing workshop during his 'Floating to the Fringe 2015 Tour', from Norfolk to the Edinburgh Fringe... in a milk float!'Making Senses' is a two hour workshop suitable for all ages and abilities (no musical instruments required), that will take place at selected venues that Paul will be performing at. The first half of the workshop will involve some outdoor observational exercises that get the participants tuning in to their senses, returning to the venue in the second half to do some song lyric writing. There will also be a competition for the best song lyrics to win a free day's music recording with Travelling Studio, who will come out to the winner's location of choice with all their recording gear to make a recording of the winning song.

Paul will also be performing on the evening of 17 June at 7.30pm. His music has been described as ‘blissed out Donovan meets John Martyn’, and he uses a loop box (think Ed Sheeran) to layer guitar, vocals and rhythm.
