The Castle Players

Join the fabulous local Castle Players as they present one of Sam Cree's most hilarious comedies, The Mating Season.

Widower Sid Gillespie is desperately seeking the hand in marriage of his latest lady-friend, Stella Morley, much to the dismay of her daughter, Vanessa, and Sid's housekeeper, Mrs Jamieson. Stella will accept the proposal on the condition that Sid moves his two grown sons and his Uncle Fred out of the house.

In an attempt to get rid of them, he tries to marry them off to their girlfriends, and Fred's childhood sweetheart. Unfortunately Saucy Babs, nervous Violet and Helga provide the opportunity for everything to go wrong when each lady takes a shine towards Sid.

Another great production from the Castle Players and a night filled with laughter is promised.
