Funhouse Comedy Club
Funhouse Comedy brings another night full of laughter to the delightful Lyric Rooms, Ashby-de-la-Zouch on Thursday May 3rd.
Headliner is the energetic and satirical writer and comedian Geoff Norcott who has many TV credits to his name including The Mash Report (BBC2), Question Time (BBC2) and Comedy Bigmouths (C5). He delivers an eclectic mix of dark material, impressions and politics with a confident smile and optimism. His shrewd standpoints on life make his anecdotes extremely captivating and leave his audiences wanting for more.
Support comes from the charming comedian, actor and writer Alistair Barrie. Travelling all over the world to perform he has appeared at the world's highest gig on a mountain in France and on a boat in the middle of the North Sea. With his riotously acerbic, achingly funny diatribe he persuades the crowd to be part of his world, leaving them wanting more.
Completing the line-up will be the witty and eloquent Ant Dewson, with his musical comedy feast and rhyming riot and the straight-faced Wayne Beese with his cleverly constructed tales and whose mission in life is to convince people that, depsite his miserable face, he is happy!
Compere for the night will be the lively and amicable Spiky Mike.
