A shining example of classic musical theatre with epic dancing, a madcap story and a wonderfully expected and romantic happy ending. The unforgettable Cole Porter score includes “De-Lovely,” “I Get a Kick Out of You,” “All Through the Night” and, of course, the great title song, “Anything Goes.”

Set aboard an all singing & dancing ocean liner, the cruise overflows with wealth, sailors, a stowaway, gangsters, an evangelist, Wall Street brokers and the most irresistible of showgirls, the brassy-but-lovable Reno Sweeney.

When Billy Crocker learns Hope Harcourt is travelling on the S.S. American, he stows away to try and win her back, not knowing that Hope is heading to England to marry the very wealthy Lord Evelyn Oakleigh. Meanwhile, Billy’s friend, Evangelist - turned nightclub singer - Reno Sweeney, turns her sights upon Lord Oakleigh. To remain on-board the ship, Billy borrows an unused ticket & passport from incognito gangster MoonFace Martin, disguising himself as the gangster’s missing associate.

Will Billy get Hope? Will Reno get Lord Oakleigh? Will Billy be taken into custody, along with MoonFace? Of course they will, but with great fun along the way!

This madcap romantic comedy is filled with music, dance, mistaken identities, and hilarity. It promises to deliver a fun filled evening of theatre for all.

Anything Goes is Ocean Youth’s 17th production adding to the list of dynamic and entertaining productions including The Pirate Queen, Loserville, Sweeney Todd, West Side Story and of course Les Miserables.
