Bountiful Botanics

A fun-filled weekend for garden enthusiasts, families and those with a zest for nature’s bounty as we celebrate the turn of the season.

Experts from Wakehurst will be on hand to give gardening tips and growing advice through a series of talks, hands-on workshops, demonstrations, tours and family activities. There will also be seasonal displays (including the inevitable pumpkin) from local horticulture and growing societies, specialist nurseries offering advice and skilled artisans displaying fencing, gate, stone engraving and iron work, as well as plants and delicious food for sale.

There will be plenty of activities to keep children of all ages occupied, including tree climbing, pond dipping, bug hunts, storytelling, vegetable art and foraging tours. There will also be a display of vintage tractors and Wakehurst machines with our expert staff ready to answer any questions.
