Open Sky

Following its critically acclaimed debut at the Edinburgh Festival, Open Sky present Scorched – a play which explores the workings of a mind sinking into the sands of time.

Jack reigns from the armchair of his rest home. Decorated WWII veteran, former river warden, boxer, horse whisperer, boat builder, charmer, prolific father and husband to a very unhappy wife. Dementia is eroding his mind, but the past drags this local legend back to the scorched sands of Egypt in 1941.
