Festival season may be over by the time this comes round, but we've put together a brilliant mini-festival/alldayer for you in association with Crashlanding Gigs at the West End Centre. It's our biggest gig yet!
Seven bands on the main stage plus an acoustic stage, and a cracking line up it is too!
Haeadliners The Men That Will Not Be Blamed For Nothing come from a past which probably never happened, via a present they didn't want. Less steampunk and more "SteamPUNK", the London four piece mix Anarchy and Anachrony in equal measure.
Expect a robot Sid Vicious covering Slayer in an 1877 East End Music Hall: a murky mix of Doctor Who, Doctor Watson and Doctored History. Not for the faint hearted or those of a delicate disposition. Expect songs about Isambard Kingdom Brunel, orphan chimney sweeps, haunted houses, Victorian funerals and much fun!
Alt-rock girl duo Rews have been making quite a name for themselves, and have been making friends locally too having played two gigs for us and one at the West End Centre. The girls have been playing loads of festivals this year including the John Peel stage at Glastonbury, and have their debut album out November
There is strong local representation too! Mighty Farnborough five piece Freeze The Atlantic feature ex members of Reuben and Hundred Reasons, Guildford/Wales reggae-rock five piece Tree House Fire are favourites of ours, brilliant live, they have been busy recording a new album and playing loads of gigs this year including Boomtown Fair.
All girl garage rock four piece The Franklys released their debut album this year and did their biggest UK tour to date. Drummer Lexi is originally from Woking and studied at ACM. Last but not least we give you local boys Idkfa and Farnborough alt-rock five piece Love/Less
The acoustic stage is takking shape with Hannah Scott and Joe Booley confirmed so far.
