The Machine Breakers

This superb Folk and Roots Rock band have a series of critically acclaimed albums behind them. Their second album 'Sea Green' was described as 'a masterpiece' and their third album 'The Bells Ring Anyway' was nominated for a U.S. Indie Acoustic Award whilst their live album Sunday Evening - 10PM was hailed by critics as a 'fantastic collection of work to date'. They perform regularly at festivals around the UK where their live performances have been described as 'stunning' and 'passionately intense'.

The band have attracted interest and praise from some rather famous names in the industry including Ray Davies of The Kinks, Radio 2's Mike Harding, Steve Winwood to name but three. The music draws its influences from a variety of sources and to this listener is reminiscent of Fairport Convention, Lindisfarne and when they strap on the 'electrics' Oysterband and Runrig.
