R 'n' Beatles

The R 'n' Beatles are a superb band, playing the music of the very earliest Beatles period as they served their apprenticeship playing several sets a day in clubs around the Reeperbahn in Hamburg and of course the legendary Cavern Club in their home town of Liverpool.

As well as the resulting songs from those first experimental forays into song writing, this band's set also includes the covers that the Fab Four played at that time by the likes of Eddie Cochran, Little Richard, Carl Perkins & Chuck Berry and more.

This is sure to bring back a lot of happy memories of heady days and for those of a younger persuasion a chance to hear the material played in the kind of venue it was written for. A rare treat indeed.
