Ensemble Cymru

Ensemble Cymru have saved the best for last with this final offering from their sublime 2016-17 Concert Series.

Royal harpist Anne Denholm, alongside principal flautist Jonathan Rimmer and violist Lucy Nolan, take us through evocations of the natural world with Sally Beamish’s Between Earth and Sea, and From the Song of Amergin by Welsh composer Hilary Tann. This Debussy-style trio will also capture the reflective and poignant lyricism of Arnold Bax’s Elegiac Trio.

Violinist Elenid Owen and Heather Bills on cello, join us for a performance of Mozart’s exquisite Flute Quartet No. 1 in D major.
