This Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice musical charts the rise of Eva Duarte from obscurity to fame, from lowly actress to the revolutionary firebrand who aids her lover, Colonel Juan Peron, to become President of Argentina.
Evita’s rise to power saw her become an icon in her own lifetime. A life cut tragically short. With such powerful songs as Oh What A Circus, Another Suitcase Another Hall and, of course the most famous of all, Don’t Cry For Me Argentina, this epic tale of love and power is not to be missed.
