When Skerryvore first formed in 2005, little did they know they’d be in a position to celebrate a decade together in 2015! Originally a ‘Tiree 4 piece,’ Skerryvore has evolved into a 7 strong band of musicians who as comfortable performing in Chicago, Munich or Amsterdam as they are in Inverness, Glasgow or Oban as they grow into their second decade together.

Described as ‘The Sound of Young Scots Power Folk’ (Mark Radcliff, BBC Radio 2,) Skerryvore have 6 CDs under their belt – including ‘Chasing the Sun,’ described as ‘…their most complete and mature album to date…that album’s a cracker!’ (Phil Brown, BBC Radio Lancashire), and ‘Decade,’ featuring live performances of many of their songs and tunes – Skerryvore have successfully married the traditional instrumentation of accordion, fiddle, pipes and whistles with solid bass, drums and keyboards, overlain with exacting guitar and meaningful lyrics to give their unique sound.

Their Festive return to The Lemon Tree is guaranteed to lighten the mood and create a tremendous, ‘feel good’ party atmosphere.
