In the midst of the oil job crisis in Aberdeen we bring you an evening of comic relief with music and dance performances to cheer you up and reduce your stress levels. This maiden edition of 'Aberdeen Goes Funny' will held at The Forum.
The event is headlined by 'Akops' and 'Pastor Zino', both Warri, Nigerian born, but residing in Europe. They have crafted out their best and latest jokes to make you laugh away your sorrows with a money back guarantee. Also featuring award winning comedian 'Sean Reid' of Scottish and Zimbabwean decent. He has what it takes to make you laugh your lungs out.
There are music and dance performances featuring 'Rudebone' (Afrobeats/Dancehall artiste of the year), 'Peres Wills' the 'Do Like I do' crooner who recently picked up an award for the best up coming artist at the Prestigious Awards International and R.Pizzy (new Afrobeats sensation), as well as the Aberdeen based energetic female artist 'Lady Pradah' amongst other surprise acts.
Also introducing new Afro-Pop dance group 'Delisto Dancers' ready to swipe you off your seats with their sensational comic-dance performance.
This event special Guest musician is Niki Tall aka 'Oyinbo Boy' based in Germany, but currently touring the globe with his viral covers for the hits like 'Double Wahala' by Oritse Femi, 'Woju' by Kiss Daniel, 'Kongo Aso' by 9ce and Wizkid's 'Ojuelegba'.
We are bringing the special recognition awarded 'DJ Ken' (Glasgow) and 'DJ Black Mamba' (Aberdeen) to make sure there is not a dull moment while showcasing their scratching skills and tricks to amaze you.
