Fini Bearman

Fini Bearman’s album ‘Burn The Boat’ (Two Rivers Records 2016) features some of London’s top musicians; Matt Robinson (keys), Nick Costley-White (guitar), Conor Chaplin (bass) and Dave Hamblett (drums), and this record is a collection of original songs melding influences as diverse as jazz, folk and contemporary music into an 'arresting and uniquely personal sound'.

Some songs are settings of poetry by the likes of E.E. Cummings and Langston Hughes, alongside self-penned lyrics and open, wordless evocations.

This music explores story-telling which is honest yet witty, mixing lush harmony and orchestration with contemporary grooves.
