Sophie Laplane – A New Work (World Premiere)

Scottish Ballet dancer Sophie Laplane has increasingly been making her mark on the dance world by creating delightful and unique works. Laplane’s Maze was performed as a curtain raiser for Scottish Ballet’s Autumn Season 2015 and wowed critics and audiences alike.

Laplane’s singular style mixes humour with inspiration from everyday emotions and situations. The shapes she creates for the dancers are as surprising as they are distinctive and hugely entertaining.
