ActivityMixers and Fan Club members are invited to participate in the inaugural gathering of the ActivityMix Pipes and Drums!

With a set list that may include favourites such as Scotland the Brave, Highland Laddie, Green Hills and The Battle is Over, they are excited to create this opportunity for current and lapsed band members to showcase their talent and show their support for team colleagues whilst adding a traditional treat to the Highland Games Family Fun Day.

The ActivityMix Pipes and Drums are fully inclusive with support invited from all ages. Basically, if you have a connection with the ActivityMix Highland Games, you can bang your own drum or play your own pipes to any or all of the tunes listed above, then they'd love to include you in this slightly ambitious and somewhat untested concept of a 'scratch band' on the day of the Highland Games!

They are pretty confident that there are oodles of traditional pipe band talent lurking within the corporate workplaces of this fine city, with many of you desperate for an opportunity to play or showcase your talent to colleagues, friends and family.

You will be part of a lunchtime performance between 1:00pm and 2:00pm with details emailed to all band members once the final fixture list for the event has been drawn in May.
