Welsh National Opera’s Chief Executive and Artistic Director, David Pountney is an opera stage director, festival curator, librettist and commissioner of new opera.
He is joined by young Russian composer, Elena Langer, for an insider’s guide to the collaborative process of creating new opera.
The discussion will be interspersed with musical extracts of Elena’s music and composers recently commissioned by WNO.
