Jazz Picnic

Surely there can be nothing better in the whole wide world than to watch a jazz concert at sunset in a deck chair with a drink and view over London? Our new jazz picnic series goes back to the Edwardian roots of jazz and presents three nights of music from 1910s ragtime to 1930s swing.

This week, meet Albert Ball’s Flying Aces, the UK's only fully-professional ragtime band. Founded in 2010, the band portrays a group of ex-RFC aviators and performs authentic music themed around the Great War on antique instruments. ABFAs have since dazzled audiences in many of London's most prestigious music venues and become a mainstay act of national renown, winning great acclaim for their authenticity, energy and humour.
