Inspired by a true story and based on the hit movie, Made in Dagenham is a bold, uplifting British musical comedy about friendship, love and the fight for equality.
Set in 1968, the story follows Rita O’Grady and the women working at the Ford factory in Essex. When the female sewing machinists are suddenly downgraded and labelled as unskilled workers, Rita and her colleagues begin to question the system and soon find themselves leading a movement that would change history forever.
What begins as a local factory strike quickly captures the attention of the nation, forcing politicians, factory bosses and society itself to confront the issue of equal pay for women.
