January's Comedy in Woodcote

Hal Cruttenden is one of the top comedians working in the UK today, as well as being a highly accomplished writer and actor.

Over the last year he’s performed on ‘The John Bishop Show’ (BBC1), ‘Live at the Apollo’(BBC1 and 2), ‘The Melbourne Comedy Festival Gala’ on Channel 10 Australia as well as ‘Have I Got News For You’ (BBC1) and frequently being seen on ‘Great British Bake Off – Extra Slice’ (BBC2).

'An absolute joy to watch' (The Scotsman)

'Hugely talented' (The Times).

Hal Cruttenden was named in Ents24's top 20 hardest-working comedians of 2015.

Laughter Lounge Award winner Harriet is described by The Guardian as 'definitely one to watch'.

'She’s got funny bones' (Kevin Bridges)

'Exploring the thin line between eccentric and the mental’ is perfect comedy ground for Harriet Dyer, who seems to have lived her entire life on that interface. Her instinctively funny stand-up is packed full of weird and wonderful incidents from her strange life so far – yet however outlandish the tales, they all have an absolute ring of truth' (Steve Bennett, Chortle at the Leicester Comedy Festival)

'A bundle of whimsical hilarity… a breath of fresh air... will have you in stitches' (Broadway Baby)

'Dyer made the audience feel at home and managed to wow the crowd… Loveable and delightful' (Three Weeks).

Jonathan Elston is a fresh, punchy, gag-driven comic who combines sharp joke writing and quirky observations with a youthful likability that charms his audience and endears him to any room.

However, as with many top comics, success means is Jonathan rarely to be found out of a coach or car. The carbon footprint that Jonathan has created since his career began is big enough to have destroyed a football pitch sized hole in the Brazilian rainforest!

Despite the havoc he is wreaking on the rainforests, Jonathan is steadfast in his focus and continues to be one of the most sought after young acts working the circuit.

'A young comic with incredible talent' (The Guardian).
