The Daybreakers

The Daybreakers are a North London power trio redefining the boundaries of the British rock landscape. Moving beyond the constraints of traditional purism, the band has established a singular "Death Funk" aesthetic - a sophisticated collision of Dark Wave atmosphere, 70s Glam swagger, and the raw grit of the Blues.

The project is the brainchild of Irish-Jamaican singer and guitarist Aidan Connell. A virtuoso whose credits include work with arena-level legends such as Gary Clark Jr., Peter Doherty, Mazzy Star, and Seasick Steve, Connell leads a unit defined by a "tight but loose" sonic paradox. Completed by the melodic, driving basslines of Nick Chambers and the thunderous, precision drumming of Michele Camasso, and Alex Kettener’s ethereal Slide Guitar, The Daybreakers create a cohesive, heavy landscape that is as danceable as it is brooding.
