About the show
A very intimate gig with very limited tickets in the special space that is The Holding Cell at The Old Courts in Wigan.
Do come and join us and our special guest, Rowan Kettle, a fabulous singer-songwriter following in the footsteps of his parents.
The Rolling Folk will be playing a selection of songs from Virginia's copious repertoire of compositions, featured on the album East of Elsewhere (available online and at the merch stall) and from the forthcoming album, the title of which has yet to be decided.
Come and enjoy a marriage of wonderful wordsmithery and musical magnificence and escape the pressures of the festive season for a couple of hours at least. You know you want to!!
Featuring - Virginia Kettle
Virginia's vocals have been a key element of Merry Hell's sound since the band's inception a decade ago. Before joining her husband John, brothers-in-law Bob and Andrew, and sundry others in the eight-piece folk-rock outfit, she'd already established herself as a singer-songwriter in her own right.
