About the show
Join us for another fantastic Watford Comedy Night at the Pump House. We’ve teamed up with Comedy Hotspot to bring you entertainment brimming with comedic excellence and featuring some of the best stand-up acts currently doing the national comedy circuit. Our original headline act Dave Fulton has had to reschedule due to filming, we can't say more than that as he has signed an NDA. Fear not, the brilliant Ben Norris will step in and will smash the end of the night for us. Ben is a British stand-up comedian known for his relaxed stage presence, improvisational skill, and extensive career in live comedy and television. Hosting the night will be hilarious Scottish comedian Stephen Carlin who has received great critical acclaim, accolades and a growing fanbase with his original and insightful writing style and accomplished delivery. He is a very enigmatic act, using a unique pattern of delivery to amuse the audience with very unexpected and off the wall references. Opening the show is Michael Akadiri, a fast rising multi award winning comedian. His natural charm and cheeky, observational style has already seen him make an impact on the UK comedy scene. And taking up the middle slot we have Howard Anstock who, with his deeply personal material that mixes anecdotes and experiences, has been described as “an acidic Victoria Wood”.
