Roxette - Marie Fredriksson and Per Gessle – came out of Sweden in the late '80s. Their game was pop, their mission to conquer the world. The duo released 33 chart-busting singles, including 'Must Have Been Love', 'Joyride', 'The Look', 'Listen To Your Heart' and 'Dressed For Success', and acheived record sales of 75 million.
Following Marie Fredriksson's recovery after a brain tumour operation in 2002, the band made a comeback that climaxed with the release of the album 'Charm School' and a World Tour in 2011, before announcing in 2016 that Marie was no longer touring.
Marie died in December 2019 following complications from her previous illness.
