Formed in late 1999 when four school friends decided to gather and form a band. Milburn have been described as 'a band whose style touches on the toughness of Thin Lizzy and the melody of Stereophonics, with maybe REM thrown in.' (Sheffield Star).
The band kick-started the Sheffield revival that would give birth to Arctic Monkeys and Reverend & The Makers. The Courteeners, Arctic Monkeys and even a One Direction-er fell over themselves to lavish praise on the defunct four-piece. Now thanks to overwhelming public demand, eight years later they return.
