Johnny Flynn is known for fronting his band, The Sussex Wit, as well as acting in theatre productions. Along with appearing in Jerusalem, "one of the best dramas of the 21st century" (The Guardian), Johnny has delighted audiences with performances in The Heretic (Royal Court), Richard III, Twelfth Night (alongside Mark Rylance and Stephen Fry at the Globe and in the West End) and is about to finish The Low Road at the Royal Court. His performances in The Heretic and Jerusalem earned him Olivier, Evening Standard and What's On Stage Award nominations, and he has also been nominated for an Ian Charleson Award for his portrayal of Viola in Twelfth Night.
