Emily is a young Scottish singer-songwriter who was originally an X Factor contestant in 2014. Unfortunately, her mentor Cheryl felt she was too young and needed more time to find her own sound. Fast forward two years later and Emily became a finalist in the 2016 live heats. She received a standing ovation when she performed her own version of Cindy Lauper’s Girls Just Wanna Have Fun during the Six Chair Challenge. She aims to pursue a career combining clever cover versions with her own material.
