The industrial landscape of New Jersey, a state that brought us such diverse artists as Frank Sinatra, Queen Latifah and Bruce Springsteen, launched music's merriest, upbeat combos, Catch 22, and has been their home for the last decade. Formed in 1996 when founding members Chris Greer, Ryan Eldred and Kevin Gunther set out to play a genre of music that quickly became a huge national trend, Catch 22 became pioneers of the ska/punk scene. Over 200,000 album sales later, they are still one of the most consistent bands on the road today, filling venues worldwide and helping to launch the careers of many others (among those bands they invited out as supports are Sum 41, Thursday and Taking Back Sunday). Catch 22 have built a reputation for smoking live shows and musical innovation.
