Bonsai are a quintet from Manchester who were the winners of 2014's Jazz North Introduces initiative to promote a young band form the north of England. Influenced by the likes of Christian McBride, Gwilym Simcock, Herbie Hancock and Pat Metheny they aim to play exciting arrangements by band members and other composers.
