In Session presents The Zac Schulze Gang. Formed in Gillingham in 2020, The Zac Schulze Gang are an electrifying blues-rock trio led by frontman Zac Schulze, blending blues and rock with influences from punk, funk, soul, metal, and more. Renowned as one of the UK’s hardest-working bands, they now tour internationally and have shared stages with artists including Samantha Fish, Eddie 9V, Nine Below Zero, and The Cinelli Brothers.

Winners of multiple awards including UK Blues Emerging Band of the Year 2024 and Young Artist of the Year 2025, the band have appeared at Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Festival and Fairport’s Cropredy Convention, and headlined major blues festivals in 2025. With a debut studio album due in 2025, The Zac Schulze Gang are firmly establishing themselves as a rising powerhouse of modern blues-rock.

Thomas Heppell is one of the UK blues scene’s fastest-rising talents. Following the acclaimed release of his debut album, he’s currently recording a new EP paying tribute to Robert Johnson, ahead of a brand new album in 2026 that captures the explosive energy of his live shows. An electrifying guitarist, soulful vocalist, and sharp songwriter, Thomas has shared stages with Elles Bailey, Ainsley Lister, Dan Patlansky, Mike Zito, Dom Martin, and Albert Lee. Blending blues, rock, and swing with groove and flair, and recently nominated for multiple UK Blues Awards, Thomas Heppell is an artist on the rise.
