BBC News presenter Ros Atkins is joining us at Maker and bringing his Rave Machine along!

Before his career in journalism, Ros was a passionate drum & bass DJ, inspired by legends like LTJ Bukem, Ray Keith, and DJ Hype. 

In early 2022, Ros revisited his DJ roots with a Drum&Bass mix for BBC Radio 6 Music, which went viral and drew widespread media attention.

Ros' Glastonbury debut in 2024 led to the creation of Ros Atkins’ Rave Machine, a celebration of the energy and diversity of Drum&Bass and rave culture. It debuted in central London, with Bladerunner joining Ros, and soon it was scaling up.

The Rave Machine show combines Ros’s curated selections from the 90s to today with music from some of the genre’s most renowned DJs and MCs - creating a high-energy, immersive experience. This is a party for those who’ve loved raving for years - and for those just discovering it.
