A Jazz, Funk & Hip-Hop explosion lands at The Vic this August as the unstoppable Mellowmatic bring their full 9-piece live show to Swindon.

Blending golden-era Hip-Hop, Jazz-Funk, Neo-Soul grooves and explosive live energy, Mellowmatic have built a reputation as one of the UK’s most exciting live acts. Since forming in 2021, they’ve torn through festival stages and packed venues across the country with a show that’s slick, soulful, high-energy and impossible to stand still to.

Their sound pulls from classic Hip-Hop roots while smashing through genre boundaries — mixing live instrumentation, huge grooves, soulful vocals, razor-sharp MCs and hard-hitting musicianship into one massive live experience.

The band have shared stages with the likes of Ella Eyre, AJ Tracey, Ezra Collective, Nubiyan Twist, Asian Dub Foundation, Dub Pistols and Dizzee Rascal, while lighting up major festivals including Glastonbury, Boomtown, WOMAD, Isle of Wight, Wilderness, Shambala, Green Man, Boardmasters and more.

With two albums, critically acclaimed EPs and new music landing throughout 2025 and 2026, Mellowmatic are fast becoming one of the standout names in the UK live circuit.
