The Futureheads Christmas Show returns to The Fire Station this year, with an added family matinee show packed with your festive favourites.
Formed in Sunderland in 2000, The Futureheads quickly rose to prominence with their distinctive post-punk sound. Known for their innovative use of vocal harmonies and high-energy performances, the band has released six studio albums, headlined countless tours, and earned critical acclaim across the globe.

Featuring - The Futureheads
Sunderland-based playing guitar-led post punk in the style of Wire with a twist of XTC. There's four of them in the band and they all sing; not harmony or unison - but all different tunes at once that somehow intertwine. Punk opera, perhaps?
After a hiatus following their 2012 a cappella album 'Rant', the boys announced their return in 2019 with new material along with a promise of playing their classics including 'Decent Days And Nights' and their UK top 10 cover of Kate Bush's 'Hounds Of Love'.
