An evening of Parisian-flavoured jazz and Gypsy Swing at France Lynch Church Rooms, with UK quartet Swing from Paris.
“intelligent, interesting and inventive” THE JAZZ MANN
A quartet of violin, guitars and double bass, Swing from Paris are inspired by the great swing bands of the 1930s and ’40s. They present their own versions of music by Gershwin, Piazzolla, Benny Goodman, Django Reinhardt, Stéphane Grappelli and the Hot Club of France.
Expect stylish jazz and vintage swing.
Book in advance for £15, with no booking fees.
Doors open 7pm.
Performance 7.30pm - 9.30pm (including 20min interval).
