Local History talk by Alan Biggins with a short film by Whaddon’s own John Conneely.
Controlled from Whaddon during WW2 and scattered everywhere in local villages including STONY were a mass of SIS/MI6 secret communication sites providing vital information for generals and top brass, as well as running spies and saboteurs; this was James Bond for real.
Alan and John have recorded these stories before they vanish into the ether.
