The Importance Of Being Earnest

York House Theatre Collective, in collaboration with The Play’s The Thing Theatre Company, presents Oscar Wilde’s timeless comedy:

The Importance of Being Earnest

Prepare for an evening of sharp wit, outrageous misunderstandings, double lives, romantic complications and some of the most gloriously ridiculous characters ever created for the stage.

And joining the cast is acclaimed actor Ian Reddington, whose career spans more than four decades across stage, film and television, with credits including Highlander, Doctor Who, EastEnders, Coronation Street, Shameless, Benidorm and Vera.

Presented as a rehearsed play reading, this special collaboration brings together professional and amateur theatre-makers for an entertaining and intimate evening celebrating one of the greatest comedies in the English language.

Expect laughter. Expect wit. Expect Wilde.

Whether you're a lifelong theatre lover or simply looking for a great night out, come and enjoy the wonderfully absurd world of The Importance of Being Earnest at York House.
