Formed in 2001, Hull-based Sativa wanted to do something different to what was going on in the rock world by incorporating a mix of grunge and psychedelia, with influences ranging from the likes of Bush, Silverchair and Alice in Chains, to bands such as Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin.
