Stockton Calling is a cross-town festival pulsating through the heart of various venues within Stockton Town Centre in North East England. A pilgrimage for the sonically curious, a gathering of kindred spirits united by the love of live music.
Featuring - Red Rum Club
'Red Rum Club are a alternative rock sextet from Liverpool that formed in 2014, combing sounds of old and new channelling ‘Tarntino-esque’ wild western vibes with the help of a solitary trumpet. Amongst the 80s Liverpool influence they also deliver a modern twist of poetic yet catchy lyrics and melodies that blend to make the sound that is unmistakably, Red Rum Club.'
The Clause
Birmingham Indie/alternative 4-piece influenced by the likes of Catfish and The Bottlemen, Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian, Jaws and The Twang.
Adult DVD
A band formed originally as a product of lockdown boredom, Adult DVD began in the form of friends Harry Hanson and Greg Lonsdale experimenting with synths and writing over the internet together. As musical ideas blossomed into fully-fledged songs, further members Jonathan Newell, Danny Blackburn, Jake Williams and Charlie Howard joined and the full band became a reality.
In the short time since releasing their debut single earlier this year in February 2021, the band have already gained a number of admirers, receiving support from BBC Introducing, Radio X (John Kennedy), and Amazing Radio in both the UK and US.
