The Drowns in Stamford - A DIY Punk Gig

Seattle’s finest peddlers of working class punk n roll THE DROWNS are coming to Mama Liz's and bringing a host of support with them.
Misfortune Cookie make a welcome return with their hook laden melodies and Helens incredible voice.
Garage Punk from Nottingham in the shape of Reduced bring the lo-fi snot, and proceedings open with a solo set from Gaz Moore of The Reverends.
The last time the Drowns played for us it was at the Ostrich Inn – this time they are playing the bigger of our homes – the most amazing venue in the area (if not the UK), Mama Liz’s Voodoo Lounge.
The Drowns
The Drowns have come together to light a fire amongst those who still have hope in humanity. The three members have a combined 40+ years of punk rock experience from their prior projects: Success, The Shell Corporation, and The Briggs.
