About the show
After learning about the suicide of a patient (Virginie Efira), psychoanalyst Lilian Steiner (Jodie Foster) suspects foul play and decides to uncover the truth. Enlisting the help of her ex-husband-cum-sleuthing partner (Daniel Auteuil), her investigation leads her to unexpected conclusions.
Jodie Foster’s impeccable French and comedic skills are on full display in this mystery thriller, which sees her character journey down a rabbit hole to investigate a suspicious death. This wildly enjoyable romp is as full of charm as its magnetic protagonist.
Drawing on Alfred Hitchcock and Brian De Palma at their most playful, this wildly enjoyable mystery-caper is as full of charm as its magnetic protagonist.
Foster's performance earned her nominations for the Lumière Award for Best Actress, becoming the first American to receive a nomination.
