Funhouse Comedy Club brings another night full of laughter to The Final Whistle, Southwell on Thursday October 23rd. Topping the bill is Christian Reilly who at the age of 15 joined a band to get laid. The Salvation Army had different ideas! He became an integral part of the Perrier award-winning show Otis Lee Crenshaw and the Black Liars, with comic/songster Rich Hall and travelled the world 3 times. Now as a solo performer he both captivates and amuses his audiences with his comic songs and witty punch-lines. Opening the night will be Jules O'Brian, shortlisted for Funny Women, she enjoys telling anyone who will listen about ageing disgracefully, body hang-ups, parenting, and dating all done with a twinkle in her eye. Also appearing is Pete Teckman who was crowned Silver Stand Up of the Year at Leicester Comedy festival, an award for comedians over 40 years of age, with his mix of self-deprecating and observational humour. He personifies the taking of difficult, painful situations in living and turning it into great comedy. Completing the line-up will be the unique and bizarrely talented Roger Swift, with his laugh a minute gags!
