Bird In The Belly

Bird in the Belly is collective is made up of solo artist Jinnwoo, folk duo Hickory Signals (Laura Ward and Adam Ronchetti), and instrumentalist Tom Pryor. Together they record songs and stories that have either never before been recorded or are rarely recorded - all set to contemporary folk music, in the hopes of reintroducing these songs back into the folk canon.

Their sound is raw and bare-boned with “distinctively contemporary and earthy vocalising” (R2 Magazine) – and harks back to the 1960’s Folk Revival sound.
