Carpet of Blue with Live Music 4.30pm Screening

In an endlessly busy world, we can boost well-being by seeking out the tranquil spaces that only nature can provide.

Carpet of Blue is a short film by Sam Wichelow capturing Ecclesall Woods during bluebell season.

Liz Hanks has created a specially written soundtrack underscoring Wichelow's film to showcase one of the most colourful yet fleeting displays in nature's calendar.

The film and performance duration is 25 minutes. There will be an introduction to the screening and the event will last approx. 45 - 50 minutes.

There will be a small bar on site.

The film is suitable for all ages but we'd recommend the event is for ages 16+ (anyone under 18 should be accompanied by an adult).

We're presenting this activity during bluebell season so that you can also have a wander in the woods before the event.
