The Elite Ice Hockey League is the UK's professional league. Formed in 2003, it is the highest level of ice hockey competition in the UK, with teams competing in a single division for the Elite League title. Ten teams from England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland currently compete for three trophies.
